These pictures where taken a few weeks ago i just finally got them scanned. I want to do the building again when the weather here gets better that building is giving me sleepless nights man. I think it is a gorgeous building a photographers dream building . but i have to get a better angle to shoot it to do it justice. I hope you all like what i posted and kev the dog is the picture i told you about . Zoom and weep haha....
Ok i would like to start something on my blog i am asking those who do login to try with me .I am gonna start a thread that will have to get you all doing some thing for the good of photography. I want those who drop in to do a theme or series of pictures on thier blog then we will have each person evaluate each other . Then we will have it done every end of each month for about 3 months after the 3 mths we will have a ranking of the photographers. This will give us a nice way to spread the photography bug and also give us some idea and also make us challenge ourself to do better . Then at the end we may do a online gallery of the best of the best . You never know some big shot may see it and some of you may become famous ha ha .. Who's to know right anything can happen its all in the name of photography . The worst thing too happen would be you learn some thing about the art and yourself . I was thinking of starting it from the end of this year from 31st dec to end march is the first batch of 1 series i will try to come out with a few and we will let those who wanna take part decide which series to do for that period . Your imput will be appreciated also there will be no king here just participants only.
I hope this will work it will be fun to do also since everyone may not be in the same country but if we make theme's universal then everyoine has a chance to shine . I don't want any ego trips here all for the sake of learning and enhancing the great good of photography.

Well from a photographers point of view the more the merrier thats what i will say. Why not have a 35MM and a medium or large format . then you have the both extremes of the film plain. When you go out for a specific type of shoot you bring the right type of format best brings out what you want in the seen. From experience 35MM brings a different type of element in the picture as a medium or large format. If you look at any good photographer he or she will have a few format type's. Because that way you will see the different format can give you from the same shot. The depth the sharpness the blurring of the back ground the way the lens compress the image or seperate's the subject from the background. Those are the thing that makes the different from all the formats so thats why is best to have a few formats to give you more options in taking the right picture. I would love to some day own all the types of format availble in this world that is my ultimate gold. But will be a long time coming unless i rob the bank or strike it rich some how. It would be a amazing to go shooting and try different format on the same seen and see what i get from it.
I think that would be very interesting just to try that it would be a very good learning experience to see how different the result would be . Because the film size being bigger the depth and overall detail would be different even when the len type is the same. I am gonna try this i will borrow some of my friends who have a medium and large format maybe just do it.
The art of photography is not what equipment you have but how to use what you have to the best of your ability and skill . Then what ever the result you know you have done your best that no one can take that away from you.

Now aday's the sad thing about photography which i hate the most is people being equipment wanker's. Why is it so important to have very expensive lens and camera to be a good photographer . When i first started taking pictures i never cared about what brand of camera and which type of lens or the best stuff . I was most busy with how to take a picture and the mechanics of doing it. How a box with light sensitive film manage to capture what my eyes where looking at. And then i started to make the film see what i wanted it to see not what was seen by everyone .Then came trying to get the right angle and being there at the right time . And until this day i am still learning because there are so many thing to learn . But now aday's people are more engross about which lens or body is better then this or that camera with out ever learning or understanding what it takes to make a good shot . Do you thing Ansel Adam when he first started photography thought of what lens or body was good . If he did he would have miss taking all those great picture's we see today because he would still be at home pondering what to get. Thank god at time there was no choice for him it was what he could afford. And now we have a life time of pictures that will endure twice my lifetime which i aspire to do also and hope someone will with my pictures .
Now you know !
